New York Fashion Week 2015: Givenchy

Hey guys! I decided to get back to blogging at just the right time - the middle of the Fashion Weeks. I've decided to do a series of posts, containing quick reviews of the biggest brands, participating in fashion's most important event. I am going to start with a luxurious French brand that has been around for a bit longer than 60 years - Givenchy. The brand's Creative Director Riccardo Tisci marks his tenth anniversary at the house which brought a serene sense of celebration to the show.
The collection consists of ivory slip dresses and rouleau-strapped camisoles with lace edges, worn over excellently tailored black pants cut to taper gently over pointed shoes. Supple crepe tuxedo jackets with tails, soft kimono coats, and transparent organdy trenches glimmering with jet embroidery. Some of the most spectacular couture dresses are one with a degrade feather effect, and another with leather patches applied on tulle in the shape of alligator skin.
Here are my favorite pieces of Givenchy's Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear:

Victoria's Secret Show 2014: Angel Ball

We've come down to the last theme of the VS show and don't worry - I've saved the best for last: the Angel Ball. This is the darkest and sexiest segments of all six. The angels graced the catwalk wearing luxurious black lingerie, so did Taylor Swift, who performed "Style" in a matching (stunning) outfit. Dark gothic wings topped of some of the models' ensembles. They couldn't have finished the show any better! At the end, all 47 models gathered on the stage, wrapping up one of the biggest annual events in the fashion world. Here are the photos :)
